The heart of a shampoo formula, whether liquid or solid, are the surfactants. They are the ones who wash your hair. Moreover, you will systematically find them at the very top of the INCI list.

This is why, at LOUBAIO, we use the best: glutamates and glucosides (Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate and Lauryl Glucoside).

They have excellent washing power, are extremely soft and do not pollute during their manufacture. These are the perfect surfactants, far from the sulfates still in the majority on the market.

Several active ingredients in this shampoo have a direct effect on the health and appearance of your hair.

Sage hydrosol, with many virtues, has long been used in cosmetics for its regenerating, antioxidant, purifying and balancing properties. Perfect for oily skin and scalps, it effectively regulates sebum production and perspiration.

Aloe Vera, which needs no introduction, is a wonderful source of nutrients and benefits for your hair. Very hydrating, it is also soothing and purifying. It also helps restore softness and shine to dry, dull and damaged hair. In doing so, it makes detangling and styling easier.

Finally, the presence of inulin and sugar beet (which has the lovely name of Polyglyceryl-3 Betainate Acetate) guarantees strong detangling power to this shampoo.

Our packaging

Aluminum bottle (recycled!):we chose aluminum because it is a 100% recyclable material (infinitely), light and very resistant. Please note that our bottle does not contain BPA.

Plastic pump:we would have liked to avoid plastic but there is no practical alternative to date. This pump is recyclable, let's say that's a start.

PE label:here too, no possible alternative from our point of view. A paper label in the shower won't hit the mark.

Usage tips

Apply to wet hair, massage, then rinse.

In case of contact with eyes, rinse with clean water.

To know : Switching from a so-called “conventional” shampoo to an organic shampoo requires an adaptation period of a few months for your hair (the very famous “transition phase”). Don't panic, we'll explain why in a blog article.

This product being 100% natural in origin, texture and color can change over time without altering its properties.

Q - Does this shampoo contain any controversial ingredients?

A - No, absolutely none. Q - Is this shampoo organic?

A - Yes! Like our entire range, this shampoo is certified Organic COSMOS ORGANIC by Ecocert Greenlife according to the COSMOS standard.

Q - What is the percentage of organic ingredients in this product?

A - 25%. Why so little? In shampoos (or shower gels), water is the majority ingredient (on average around 80%). However, water cannot be considered “Organic”. The organic percentage is therefore calculated on all the other ingredients that this shampoo contains. So ultimately, 25% is a lot!

Q - Is this shampoo Vegan?

A - Yes, we do not use any animal ingredients in this shampoo. In full transparency, not being Vegan, this is not a fierce desire for us. We may one day offer a Honey product (from Provence of course!).

Q - What is the pH of this product (acidity level)?

A - The pH of this shampoo is between 5 and 5.3 (the pH of healthy hair is between 4.5 and 5.5). A shampoo with an acidic pH tends to tighten the scales and smooth the hair fiber, helping to maintain hydration and reflect light.

A local and responsible approach

We think and design our products in France, but we go further.

We favor purchasing ingredients from French producers. For example, our Plum and Safflower oils come from Gascony, Olive and Hemp from Bouches-du-Rhône and Pomegranate from Vaucluse.

This guarantees superior quality ingredients, a reduced carbon footprint, fairly paid producers and for us, superb relationships with enthusiasts!

J'adore ce shampoing, autant l'odeur que la qualité pour mes cheveux, recharge très pratique ! merci

Belle découverte

Après avoir essayé divers types de shampoings dans ma transition vers le naturel, je souhaitais tout de même un shampoing liquide et qui mousse un minimum en plus d'une composition irréprochable.
Celui-ci remplit les critères : il sent bon (l'odeur reste sur mes cheveux plusieurs jours même si bien sûr elle est moins présente que le jour du lavage) et il mousse bien (je fais 2 shampoings pour ma part).
S'il est bien rincé, aucun problème de cheveux gras/poisseux/etc.
Je me lavais les cheveux une fois par semaine avec un shampoing "conventionnel" auparavant ; au début de l'utilisation de celui-ci je trouvais mes cheveux plus sales sur les 2 derniers jours, mais désormais mon cuir chevelu a du s'y habituer car je tiens la semaine sans problème.
Le seul doute que j'ai concerne la quantité, car j'ai l'impression qu'il se vide rapidement mais peut-être que j'en mets trop, surtout sur le premier shampoing.
